Satoshi Kubo

Vocal Coach & Répétiteur – Jette Parker Artist Programme - Royal Ballet and Opera

Satoshi Kubo is a Japanese pianist based in London who works as a freelance pianist and opera répétiteur. Born in Ōita, Japan, he graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he studied with Itamar Golan, Jeff Cohen, and Roger Muraro, and deepened his passion for chamber music at the Pablo Casals Festival in Prades.


She was a Young Artist at the National Opera Studio in London during the 2017–2018 season, supported by the Nomura Foundation, and has since developed a distinguished career in opera. Since 2018, she has been a coach on the Jette Parker Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House and has collaborated with international and independent companies such as the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, the Philharmonie de Luxembourg, Blackheath Halls Opera, Barefoot Opera, Clonter Opera, The Opera Story, and Wild Arts.


Furthermore, Kubo maintains a strong commitment to music education and community work. He dedicates part of his professional activity to training young people and to community integration and participation projects.


He is currently researching the work of Yasuji Kiyose, focusing on the use of the Japanese language in the interpretation of art songs.
